HOT-GALVANIZING

  

Our galvanising plant is equipped with a tank 7,000 mm long and 2,000 mm wide and around 2,500 mm high. The size of this tank allows a vast range of light, medium, and heavy structural metalwork to be galvanised, as well as water accumulation tanks up to a maximum capacity of 14,000 litres.
Hot-galvanising is a thermochemical process that, as well as protecting carbon steel articles from corrosive external agents, also extends their life considerably.
Unlike other types of coating, which merely cover the metals passively, hot-galvanising provides metallurgical chemical penetration of the zinc, which spreads into the surface layers of the article so that the material is enriched with zinc and is totally impenetrable by atmospheric agents.
