History

The history of “Lo Cascio Salvatore & C. s.r.l.” began with the idea of its Sole Director, who gave his name to the Company, of consolidating previous craftsmanship experiences acquired in the production of tanks.
And so “Lo Cascio Salvatore & C. s.r.l.” was founded in 1988, employing a staff of 15 working in a factory of about 500 m2.
The excellent market responses immediately gave rise to the need of extending the production site, so that the first INDUSTRIAL FACILITY plant, which was practically ten times larger, was already completed in 1992.
The second stage of the extension, however, was completed in 1999 with the starting up of the hot-galvanising plant, sited in a new factory next to the existing ones, as well as the setting up of a new FACILITY for the manufacture of FUEL TANKS and PRESSURE APPLIANCES for L.P.G.
As early as 1992, as well as the aforementioned tanks, these production units were manufacturing a whole range of other products complementing the tanks, such as convex end plates, manholes, flanges and special items.
The unfavourable geographical position together with the unquenchable thirst for a challenge have been the incentives for a further goal to be attained and, in 2001, the Company completed a further stage with the starting up of the lines for flattening and splitting sheet metal in COILS, with the integration of a plant for manufacturing threaded pipes for tank skins.
The group currently employs a staff of 100 working in a total surface area of approximately 43,000 m2, of which 11,000 m2 are under cover.

Mission

“Lo Cascio Salvatore & C. s.r.l.” was basically founded as a manufacturer of FUEL TANKS AND WATER TANKS. The Company has, over the years, improved and developed this sector, which represents its mission, by including the manufacture of L.P.G. storage tanks and, at the same time, has also taken steps to vary its activity by the creation of:

- a hot-galvanising plant
- a plant for flattening, splitting and shearing sheet metal in coils.

 - a plant for welded tubes used for carpentry

All this by always complying with the regulations in force and without forsaking its principal objective, “total customer satisfaction”, through the adoption of suitable reference standards and employing human resources and equipment that can always guarantee a quality product manufactured in a safe environment.
Achieving this mission means transforming oneself to continually improve oneself. And, indeed, it is the continuous moving of the goal that makes “Lo Cascio Salvatore & C. s.r.l.” always feel it is a company on track to attain new objectives rather than wasting time over those that have already been overcome.

Certifications

DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE OF CISTERNS, TANKS, CONVEX AND ROLLED END PLATES, PAINTING AND HOT-GALVANISING OF METALS.

As further testimony of the quality of its production processes, in March 2001 the Company obtained certification relative to welding processes 121 – 135 – 136 – 141 according to standard EN 729/ISO 38384 Part 2.

Services

The Company, to better attain its principal objective – “Customer Satisfaction”, guarantees:
Through its COMMERCIAL OFFICE: complete customer management, taking care of management of the works orders from acquisition to delivery;
Through its TECHNICAL OFFICE:an exhaustive and competent reply to the various questions and/or strategic choices with which the customer is often faced in the design phase of a dispensing or storage plant, as well as for the surface treatment of metals using the hot-galvanising process.
It also guarantees careful choice of materials and careful control of the production process.
Through the OPERATIVE ORGANISATION: an extensive range of products that can always meet the needs of customers.
The Company also uses its own resources as regards distribution and unloading of the products it manufactures, guaranteeing consolidated ability in often operating in unfavourable conditions with the help of a vehicle fleet fitted out for the purpose.

Transport

  

An efficient, well-equipped vehicle fleet for distributing our tanks throughout Italy, give the idea of our promptness and the on-site unloading service for our products. We also use the most traditional means of transport for large banks of tanks located in relatively circumscribed areas: THE RAILWAY or the SHIP: guaranteeing distribution from the station or port of arrival to the delivery point with our own vehicles.Our structure also allows us to transport extremely large articles, when special permits and an escort for exceptional loads are required.
